Isn’t it funny how we think we are doing heaps and getting results and then we find out that other people are doing 10 times the work and getting 50 times the results. Here is a little insight on the practice of “Massive Action”

Massive Action, this is massive action:

Calling no less than 100 pre-qualified leads every day. That’s about 3000 calls per month. Massive action of this nature is conducted daily by many people. Let me tell you how it’s done.

It’s not done with cold calls from the phone book it’s done with 3000 people who have pre-qualified themselves as being interested in MLM.

These people have a set of hoops that they put the prospects through. Hoops that start big and get smaller and smaller. They may be sent to an 800 pre-recorded phone number. This is typically a two or three minute recording that gives them another phone number to ring or access to Fax On Demand, a website or have them leave their phone number to be contacted.

When you are calling a minimum of 100 prospects a day you don’t have time to feel down, you’re pumped right up and will find yourself in “The Zone”. When you’re in “The Zone” you’re excited and it comes through on the call which gets the prospect excited.

This method is excellent for answering machines, voice systems etc. As people are screening their calls more and more with these systems you need an exciting tone to your voice. The heavy hitters using this type of massive action wear head sets and pace the room as they make these calls. They prefer voice systems to live people; it’s quicker as they can let their system do its work. They know how to work this way, they do it everyday and more importantly they get huge results.

Massive Action = Massive Results.

These kinds of people rarely have time to train people. Most don’t. Why? Because they don’t have to. They let the company train their new members on turning leads into members.

One guy I knew in Japan, looked good, spoke fast, his cell phone was always ringing. He was continually scribbling appointments in his diary but he couldn’t speak Japanese past a couple of greetings. He was here to make his fortune, but had a language barrier. To get over this he found English speaking Japanese first. He was here for about 2 years. The whole time he was here he recruited using massive action. He started off by handing out fliers at a busy station everyday. 1000 flyers everyday, day in, day out.

When he got enough money he paid someone else to do it. He got his people doing the same. To tell you the truth I used to think badly of him. I constantly found myself advising HIS members on the products, follow up etc… He’d just recruit them, get them to a certain level that week and go to the next and the next and the next. What was his result after two years? He was then earning more than $250,000 a month. He knew that the company and others would train these people. He didn’t have to spend time building friendships. He worked it like a business. After all, that’s what MLM is. I value friendships but that’s not the subject here.

Massive Action = Massive Results

Most of the time it’s not what you say but how you say it and there is no doubt that excitement and a sense of urgency sells. There is no fence for the prospects to sit on as the pros don’t give them one.

They ask “Are you in or out?”

They’d sooner a quick NO than a long yes.

The best part about this kind of massive action is that anyone can do it once they have the system in place. They call the warm prospect, engage them, refer them to the system and let the system do the sorting. It’s all automated. Large hoop, Medium hoop, small hoop. When the hordes have gone through the only thing that pops out the small hoop is people wanting to sign up.

Can you see it: You’ve got the head set on and you’re pacing the room calling 100 people, you don’t care if they say NO, you’ve got people waiting. You know if you call 100 people that a certain amount will join your business. Times that by 30 days and by 12 months and you are in the big league big time.

Teach this to your team and you can retire for life. Isn’t that what you want ! They milk the system and let the cream rise to the top. This is serious MLM. How serious? As serious as a heart attack. :-)

I guess you’re saying “3000 leads a month that must cost a lot?” but does it? There are many lead sources available, some great, some very bad. My company supplies us with premium leads at a cost of four (4) cents a lead. The only question is how many do you want. How many can you afford? Can you afford not to buy leads?

I know that a lot of you look for quality of people and not quantity. Systems such as the above breed natural leaders, the cream that rises to the top. Whether you feel that this system is good or bad is neither here nor there. Results are everything. Once you have the results you can adapt your methods to a more personal level, have fun and be extremely relaxed. But first you have to build the foundations of your empire. Read on:

Business opportunities and lovers, we want them the most when they are leaving us. “The fear of losing something we have is greater than the fear of losing something we could have.” Part two, covers one of your biggest MLM tools, the fear of loss and how to apply it.

Of all the business opportunities I’ve been presented with, I’ve wanted them the most just after the presenter had left. On occasions the opportunity wasn’t for me or was it?

I may have felt they they just wanted to sign me up and get me off and running for them. Kind of like being shown a shovel and pointed in a very general direction of the gold diggings.

Perhaps the hardest part of working any MLM is deciding to pick up the shovel and making a start.

How can you help people make a decision to join you?

How can you get people to join once they’ve already decided not to?

How can you get prospects off the fence of indecision?

How can you turn a turn-down into a turn-up for the books? Read on:

As with any sales, every sales person gets a “YES” after a certain amount of “NO’s, When the “YES” arrives fill out the membership form but leave the sponsor part blank.

Take the newly signed application and go back to one of the people who didn’t sign up. Show them the signed application form. Tell them that you have to get the application in quickly and that if they join you’ll place that person under them. “Are you in or out?”

Assuming that they or the next person signed up, take the now two applications to the next person and offer those two members as an incentive for them to join. “I’ll put these two under you if you can join now, I have to get the applications in today. Are you in or out?”

Then take the three applications to the next person and so on. Waving those applications is probable just the right amount of justification that they need to get off the fence and join your team. If they don’t join they will lose those members and all the members they bring in.

The last few people you go to with the applications are the people you want the most. The people who can bring lots of people and or the people you would just like to help the most. You know who they are.

With this method timing is important, people won’t wait forever and you need to get the

applications in.

1. With your MLM company, how long does a new member order take to arrive at their doorstep after the application is faxed or sent in?

Let’s say it takes three (3) days.

2. Let’s say you want to use this recruiting method for four (4) days from the day you signed up that first application.

3. Add the above and you have one week.

4. Tell all your new members that their products will arrive within 10 days.

If you use this method for four days, get the applications in, then the products should be delivered to all within one week and the new members will be happy to have received their orders so early. They all thought it was going to take 10 days.

Once you have used this method successfully, keep doing it, and more importantly teach it to your new people. It makes the tough work to get the first person a whole lot sweeter

After you get the first person, go flat out, the clock is running!

Remember, “If at first you don’t succeed, avoid skydiving”.

That is a perfect example of the 5 step system done in that exact order. If you remember to do this assignment you will have so much fun growing your mlm downline because your mind will be opened. You will never look at professional advertisements the same way again and this is exactly how you will grow your MLM downline. If you’re a serious network marketer like me you’ll probably start doing it for more than 10 days. You’ll probably end up paying attention for many years to come.

I habitually find myself flipping through the TV on Saturday and Sunday mornings  looking for infomercials to watch. It is so much fun to watch the process they go through because they’re so efficient in the 5 step system. A lot of people end up changing  the channel just to avoid pulling out their credit card. If you think about it that’s very powerful because they don’t even interact with you. They just set your hair on fire using the 5 step system. You can set people’s hair on fire growing your mlm dowline with this 5 step system.

Most of us have only been around sales all of our lives even though we haven’t realized it and when talking to someone face to face you tend to want to convince them even though you don’t mean to. It tends to just be human nature. You must break out of that habit so that you can explode and grow your mlm downline.

When you develop your message the only things that should be attempting to do any type of convening is your attention statement and interest question. An attention question and interest statement is designed either scare the pants off someone then promise to fix it or promise something almost unbelievable to them so that they’ll salivate to see what your offering.

If I was marketing a natural health product full of antioxidants my attention statement would be something like. “One of the things I do is show people how to live longer younger.” My interest question could be “if I could honestly show you how to live beyond the age of 100 and look even better than you do now, would that be worth 30 minutes of your time to get that done? If they say yes you invite them to your presentation.

The problem is everything that happens after that is what gets marketers into trouble. You are just looking for low hanging fruit. Don’t try to recruit into your mlm downline with someone you just met. You are a marketer, not a sales man. You just dangle the bait and let the fish bite. If a person says no, just let them go, Don’t ask them why not or try to change their mind. Marketing is a numbers game and that is what companies like Comcast, Verizon, Geico, etc use to market their products. Nobody likes salesmen and sometimes it can be so tempting to break this rule because you really want to grow your mlm downline. You might get a person tell you “No, I’m already taking a good multi vitamin.” Just say thanks and move on even if their excuse is complete irrelevant.

Marketing is a numbers game and that is how you explode and grow your mlm downline. Your job is to get as many low hanging fruits as possible. Don’t waste your time with idiots. You will have a much better chance at closing low hanging prospects after they’ve listened to the presentation call. However, since most MLM programs are pay to join programs, a guaranteed sign up program will only work in two stages. Mlm Network Marketing Is All About Leadership!

The other day I received a great question from one of my network marketing friends. They wrote:

“I am pretty new to Internet Network Marketing, actually less than two months. How do I build value when I don’t have an MLM downline yet? I don’t want to go after my friends and family.”

His question was really familiar to me, because when I first got started in my network marketing business I wanted to work completely in the “cold market” and not bug my friends and family.

I was instructed by my Sponsor to start buying and cold calling leads. I spent a hundreds of dollars, and hours of time with nothing to show for it 4 months later?

One new associate and a bank account several hundred dollars lighter.

My upline kept telling me - get on the training calls, adjust your posture, etc. etc.

I kept coming back to the same question though… How do I build value with no MLM downline? And furthermore, how will this ever be duplicatible.

If I ever sponsored someone, they would have to have lots of money to invest and a VERY strong desire to succeed to do what I was doing. And let’s face it, some people are natural at talking to others and others struggle. Sure anyone can learn, but will they learn fast enough to stay with the business?

One day I woke up and figured something out. It hit me like a slap in the face. I mean what I discovered has totally revolutionized my MLM network marketing business.

When I finally hit rock bottom, totally burned out from spending tons of cash on worthless opportunity seekers leads, I stopped working on my MLM business. I spent the next few months educating myself with Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring, and learning what I needed to learn to actually make this business work.

The Biggest Change came when I decided to change the way I look at my MLM business. You see I had never looked at it as “MY BUSINESS”. I finally stood up and started acting like a leader. I learned how to generate leads online, created MLM capture pages, and an autoresponder email series. I acted like a leader, and you know what, MLM prospects started calling me. These were not MLM leads that I had purchased. I had learned how to generate mlm leads & Cash flow online myself all for free…

Just because you don’t have an MLM downline, does not mean that you don’t have value. By the way you act or speak with MLM prospects can show them the value you bring. People want to follow a leader.

So what if you don’t know much about Internet Network Marketing? If you know anything, even a little bit, you probably know more that 90% of the people involved in the MLM industry. This is value. This is value you can bring to your MLM prospects that are looking for a change.

The bottom line is that you don’t have to have a MLM downline to offer value. Learn the skills that are necessary to succeed, and that becomes your value. Start small, learn the basics, start acting like a leader today.

If all you do is tell yourself that you are a leader and you have unique skills to offer, people will start being attracted to you and look to you to lead them. Change your mindset, and good things will happen in your MLM business.
