When building your downline for your MLM business, there are a few things you must be able to do. What I’m going to share with you are tips that will show you how to build your MLM downline the easy way.

The first downline building tip is to know your target market (people who have a need or want for what you have to offer). I know that you’ve been taught to work your warm market, or people you know. That’s not an effective way to grow your downline. In fact, many times you’ll end up chasing away your friends and even damage the relationship with your family.

Knowing your target market has a huge impact on your success with your MLM company. You can have the best products or service, the best comp plan, and the best leadership, but if you don’t know your target market, all that won’t matter.

I’ll give you an example. If you market weightloss products, your target market could be people who has a home gym, purchase weightloss magazines, has a gym membership, or has workout videos. Those are the people that will buy your weightloss products and join you in your MLM business.

Another example would be if you market travel. You target market could be people who routinely travel every year, or families that take summer vacations every year. These people will benefit greatly from your travel service and will be willing to grow a MLM travel business with you.

The second downline building tip is to really know your products or service and how they benefit people. I’m not talking about reading the benefits from the labels or from a website. What I mean is this, if you market weightloss products and it takes your product about 23 days before someone is able to lose about 11 pounds, that’s a huge benefit.

By knowing how long it takes to see results like that, you can tell people. They’ll buy your products knowing that between that time, they’ll lose weight. Also, you can give them some healthy eating tips, exercise tips, or maybe some recipes.

This downline building tip is simple. And will help in adding over a dozen people into your business.

A good way to understand the benefits of your products or service is to look at what it has done for you, your upline, your downline, or someone you know.

2. Find a duplicatible system–If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I’m sure you’ve heard that quote before. To make your life easier in your business, you need a system that sorts and does the selling for you. A system that has been proven to groom those who are serious and weed out those who are not.

3. Coaching, training, and tools–Without the proper education or know-how, you’ll never make it. I’ve never met anyone who hasn’t been taught certain techniques to use while growing their mlm business. Rest assured, coaching, training, and tools will never go out of style in this industry. Get in touch with your upline. Get as much help as you possibly need to succeed.

4. Get Automated–If you’re not utilizing some type of autoresponder for your business, you’re not in business. If you’re building a list, which I hope you are, there’s no possible way that you can keep in touch with hundreds or even thousands of people at the same time without a good autoresponder. Automation will make life easier while building your downline.

5. Find a mentor–This is probably my most favorite tip. How would you feel if you worked alongside someone who is already successful in this industry? Someone who can show you the ropes from the ground up. The key when having a mentor is to basically be coachable and teachable. Do yourself a favor and find a mentor, because it will make your mlm experience worth it.

Growing your downline in your mlm business is a tedious venture. On the other hand, the rewards can be astounding if impatience doesn’t become an issue. MLM Downline Building - How to Train and Retain Your MLM Downline

Congratulations, you are closing your prospects, and adding new partners to your MLM downline. Now is when the real work begins. In order for you to now build a successful network marketing business, you must step up to the plate and provide training and guidance to your network marketing team. The first thing you need to do is assure them that they made a good buying decision, and let them know what will happen in the next 24 hours…ie, they will receive an email confirming their joining your team, or whatever else you have in place to welcome them.

Your next MLM downline building step is to be in contact with your new associate, either by email or phone. Make sure they have all the information they need…such things as call schedules, meetings, and so on. You want to give them one action they can take immediately to begin to get fulfillment, and get the maximum benefit from their investment. That might be memorizing a prospecting script, or learning the benefits of the product or service that you are offering. Inspire them to continue gathering information and give them references to research. Once they accomplish one task, give them another assignment.

During your new downline member’s first week, be in communication with them a few times to make sure they are on track, grounded, and feel supported. Have them promise to call you at a specified time, and hold them accountable to that commitment. As you sign up more and more people, you will find that you have “workers” and “dreamers”. It’s up to you to provide support for your downline, but as time goes on, you will spend more time with your “workers”…those that do what you assign them, and call you when you tell them to.

Retention is about community, and it starts with your leadership. One thing critical to your success is having a conference call line. There are several free conference call services, and this is an excellent tool for you to use in keeping your team together, and build your downline community. As the leader of your downline, you must develop a schedule, be it weekly or monthly, and plan training calls for your team. You can use these calls as your main MLM downline building tool, where you can role play with your team, and help them develop their skills. This is also a good way to get your whole team together and have question and answer sessions.

Having a schedule is an absolute necessity in building your network marketing business. If you do things randomly, your results will be random and scattered as well. Not only should you have a conference call schedule for training your MLM downline, but you should have pre-determined hours where you are available to take their individual calls. If you don’t do that, you will have calls all over the clock…not an effective use of your time. Given that,if a member of your downline calls, and isn’t able to make contact, get back to them asap…they need to know you are there to support them.

Building your MLM downline is work, but it is absolutely imperative that you take the time required to give each one of them your attention and support. You have to lead them, and be sincerely concerned about them. Their success is yours. Your downline looks to you for guidance, leadership, and friendship. Be there for them, and they will stand by and work for you as well.


Finally viewbar actually releases

It’s been almost amusing to watch agloco keep missing their deadlines. They have promised to have the viewbar ready numerous times, from February on. It now seems they finally have gotten their act together, as they have just announced that the viewbar will be release this Monday!

These are exciting times, as we will finally get a chance to see the viewbar and start accumulating hours. A positive thing with this press release, apart from the viewbar being released, is that Agloco says they won’t have to shut down their website as part of the process.

I will let you all know when I have downloaded the viewbar. I’m BBCT and thus not among the first to be able to download it, but I’m really excited anyway!

I’m up to 139 referrals by now, and it will be interesting to see how many of these that actually download and use the software.
